ACCIONA Energía has acquired two new wind farms: the 150 MW Green Pastures I and 150 MW Green Pastures II, located in Baylor and Knox counties, Texas.
The projects, purchased for $202.5 million from private asset management entities, are fully operational, says the company.
The projects are connected to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) grid, which manages 90% of Texas’s electricity transmission, distribution, and commercialization.
These two new developments become part of ACCIONA Energía’s portfolio of renewable projects in North America, where it already had a total of 2.8 GW installed.
