Acciona Energy USA Global LLC has added longtime energy originator Matt Maley to its growing power marketing team.
Maley will help commercial and industrial customers meet their sustainability targets through Acciona’s new and existing wind and solar projects.
Maley, who holds an MBA from the Chicago Booth School of Business, joins the company from EDF Trading, where was vice president of origination, developing power and natural gas structured transactions. With more than 25 years in the energy and utility space, Maley has also spent time with Integrys, Dynegy and ComEd.

Acciona Energy has eight U.S. wind farms with a total capacity of 721 MW in six states. The company is about to start building its ninth, adding 145 MW of wind capacity. It also owns and operates a 64 MW concentrating solar power project in Nevada.
