Suzlon Brings 100.8 MW Of Wind To National Aluminium Co.

Suzlon Group has installed and commissioned two wind energy projects for India’s National Aluminium Co. Ltd. at Gondikota in Andhra Pradesh and Jath in Maharashtra.

The projects, each at 50.4 MW, have the potential to provide power to over 54,000 households, says Suzlon.

In attendance at NALCO’s dedication ceremony in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, were Jual Oram, minister for tribal affairs, and Shri Piyush Goyal, minister of state for power, coal, new and renewable energy, and mines.


J.P. Chalasani, CEO Suzlon Group, notes, “We will continue to collaborate with NALCO and look forward to work in synergy towards our common goal of reducing the carbon footprint.”
