REpower Systems SE and RWE Innogy have announced that the first construction vehicles will soon arrive on the site of what will be RWE Innogy's fourth wind farm in Poland.

The project, which involves an investment of more than 60 million euros, will comprise 19 REpower wind turbines for a total capacity of 39 MW. In addition to the actual construction work, RWE Innogy will develop the local infrastructure for the wind farm, including the repair and modernization work, as well as the construction of 3 km of new roads.

The companies say the wind farm is scheduled to go online as early as the beginning of 2013.

RWE Innogy is already operating three wind farms in Poland, for a total installed capacity of approximately 108 MW in the country.
