Nordex has received a further order from its Irish customer ESB International. In the follow-up Woodhouse project, Nordex will be installing a 20 MW wind farm comprising five N100/2500 and three N90/2500 turbines. Also included is a five-year service contract.

To date, Nordex says it has constructed a total of four wind farms for ESB in the north and south of Ireland with a combined capacity of 67.5 MW. The Woodhouse project is located in the southeast of the island close to the town of Dungarvan and is to be built in fall 2014.

Since 2002, Nordex says it has installed a total of 138 turbines in Ireland with a total capacity of 340 MW. "This marks a very encouraging continuation of our performance in this country and vindicates our strategy of working closely with our local customers," comments Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, a Nordex management board member.
