Raleigh, N.C.-based ScottMadden Inc., a North American energy consulting firm, has appointed Cristin Lyons its new energy practice leader.
Lyons joined ScottMadden in 1999 and has been a partner since 2007. She became the grid transformation practice leader in 2015. In this role, she has led the firm’s work in helping clients manage the operational, regulatory and policy impacts of increasing distributed energy resources on the grid. Through her career, she has consulted with myriad clients on issues ranging from process and organizational redesign to merger integration to project and program management. Grid transformation will continue to be a key focus in ScottMadden’s energy practice, the firm notes.
After more than two decades of service at ScottMadden, including as energy practice leader since 2009, Stuart Pearman will retire at the end of June. Lyons will assume the new role on April 1.
