San Diego-based World Wind Services, a provider of construction, and operations and maintenance personnel to the wind industry, plans to open a West Coast regional office in the Tehachapi, Calif., area.
Tehachapi is home to several wind projects and is centrally located, making Palm Springs, San Diego and the Bay Area parks easily accessible, according to the company.
‘Expanding into Tehachapi was facilitated by the significant amount of growth that the area has experienced recently,’ says Nikki Cummings, co-owner and president of World Wind Services.
The firm is currently providing services for multiple wind energy projects in the Tehachapi area.
