The Business Network for Offshore Wind has announced the finalists for the 2023 Ventus Awards, which acknowledges the best of the best from all segments of the industry, from ports and shipbuilders to manufacturers and project developers.
The awards are the industry’s highest level of professional recognition, celebrating the innovative people, companies, organizations and work worldwide moving the global offshore wind industry forward.
All categories are open to nominations except the Heronemus Award for Outstanding Achievement in Offshore Wind, which this year will honor former Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) Director Amanda Lefton.
“The offshore wind industry has seen many successes and achieved several supply chain firsts over the past year,” says Liz Burdock, president and CEO of the Business Network for Offshore Wind. “The successes that made headlines and those quietly moving the industry forward were possible thanks to the passion and talent of people and companies working across the world to hasten the energy transition. The Ventus Awards are our chance to honor them and the work they are doing to create quality jobs and combat global climate change to foster a better world for the next generation.”
Awards are presented in 10 categories designed to highlight the contributions and innovations of global professionals advancing the offshore wind industry. All finalists will be recognized and winners in each category will be announced at the Ventus Gala taking place November 9 in Boston.
