The Nordex Group has scored a hat trick in France by winning three new contracts totaling 36 MW of wind capacity.
Different project developers and power station operators have placed orders for a total of 13 N131/3000, N117/3000 and N117/2400 turbines, says Nordex, which adds that work on the wind farms is scheduled to begin this year.
Nordex will be installing its N131/3000 turbine in France for the first time. With a rotor diameter of 131 meters, it will be the largest turbine installed in the country to date, according to the company.
Nordex says it currently has an installed capacity of more than 1.7 GW in France.
