Irvine, Calif.-based Composite Technology Corp.'s subsidiary, CTC Cable Corp., has formed a new operation in China. CTC Cable has a defined strategy in multiple international markets and is moving forward with plans to expand the business and ultimately boost revenues and jobs in its U.S. operations, the company says.
Beijing-based CTC Cable Asia Ltd. will act as the regional source for market development, educate power grid professionals about the company's ACCC conductor technology, provide interface with governmental agencies, support development of qualified Chinese ACCC conductor manufacturers, and promote regional awareness of CTC's technology and brand name.
Experienced senior executives for the Chinese subsidiary have already been hired using a recruiting process run by an international search firm. A search will continue to add a substantial number of key business development and technical application personnel, according to the company.
CTC Cable is in the process of initiating similar new strategies in other international markets, including Latin America, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and other parts of Asia.
