CCEF Revises On-Site Renewable Distributed Generation Program

0

The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) has introduced a revised On-Site Renewable Distributed Generation (OSDG) Program. The program is designed to help finance the installation of systems that generate electricity from wind, solar and other renewable energy resources.

Connecticut businesses and institutions may qualify for this program if they plan to install a qualified renewable energy generation device larger than 10 kW, own and operate the facility or serve as a third-party energy service provider, and are customers of Connecticut Light & Power Co. or the United Illuminating Co.

The program is now competitive, CCEF notes. CCEF staff will select and recommend only the strongest projects for funding. CCEF will issue requests for proposals and set application deadlines.

The total funding allocated for projects under the OSDG Program through June 30, 2012, is $12.86 million.
