Airstreams Renewables Inc. (ARI) will build its new renewable energy training facility adjacent to a 1.5 MW to 2 MW solar park in Tehachapi, Calif.
ARI has executed a 33-year lease on 14 acres of land owned by ARI affiliates and directly adjacent to the renewable energy training center. The project is scheduled to be built in 2013 and has been unanimously approved by the Kern County Board of Supervisors under a conditional-use permit.
ARI plans to construct a 20,000 square-foot training center, and has plans for additional facilities in the future.
