Constellation NewEnergy, a subsidiary of Constellation Energy, will supply wind renewable energy certificates (RECs) to the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and Capital Region Economic Development Corp. (CREDC) for the 2009 Business Expo.
The Green-e certified wind RECs from Constellation NewEnergy will match the electricity consumed at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center, where the expo will take place on Nov. 12.
‘With over 200 exhibitors and 3,000 attendees expected, the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC want to send a message that renewable energy certificates give us an ability to both improve the sustainability of the 2009 Business Expo and highlight the use of renewable energy to central Pennsylvania businesses,’ says Chamber President David Black.
