1

Madison, Wis.-based RMT has been awarded balance-of-plant (BOP) engineering and construction work for St. Louis-based Wind Capital Group's (WCG) Lost Creek Wind Farm located in DeKalb County, Mo. With a nameplate generating capacity of 150 MW, Lost Creek is the largest wind energy development in Missouri and RMT's fifth wind project in the state.

RMT will be providing engineering, procurement, and civil and electrical infrastructure construction to support the installation of 100 1.5 MW GE SLE turbines on the site. The civil and electrical infrastructure includes roads, crane paths and pads, turbine foundations, an underground collector system, in-tower wiring and the construction of two meteorological towers. RMT is also responsible for mechanical turbine completion, tower erection, and testing and inspections.

WCG is scheduled to break ground on the Lost Creek Wind Farm this month. Owned and operated by WCG, Lost Creek will sell electricity to Associated Electrical Cooperative Inc., a provider of energy to six regional and 51 local electric cooperatives in Missouri, Oklahoma and Iowa.
