Vestas will supply 75 of its 2 MW machines for a 150 MW wind farm, located in the U.S. According to Vestas, the customer wished to remain anonymous.
The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a five-year customized Active Output Management service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected in the third quarter of 2016, while commissioning is expected in the fourth quarter of 2016.
With the order, the company says its total year-to-date announced order intake is nearly 5.9 GW.
