Vestas Receives 56 MW Order For Wind Project In Italy

Vestas says it will supply 28 of its V90-2.0 MW wind turbines to Tozzi TRE SpA for the Castellaneta wind farm, to be located in the Apulia region of Italy.

The contract comprises the supply and installation of the turbines, a VestasOnline Business supervisory control and data acquisition system and a 12-year service and maintenance Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 agreement. The AOM 4000 is a full-scope service contract that consists of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and consumables.

Delivery of the first turbines is expected to start during the second quarter, and the project is expected to be commercially operational before year-end.
