Vestas Names New Exec On Global Management Team

Danish turbine manufacturer Vestas has appointed Rasmus Lundsgaard Nielsen senior vice president of corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and global intelligence.

Nielsen will be part of the company’s global management team. In the role, effective April 1, his main responsibilities will be shaping the corporate strategic agenda in close collaboration with Vestas’ executive team, optimizing and coordinating the annual planning process, and providing the group with a unified market outlook.

As a consultant – including eight years of management consulting experience at QVARTZ – Rasmus has worked across industries including private equity, automotive, telecommunications, consumer goods and renewables. During the last two years, he has supported Vestas with the development and refinement of the corporate strategy and the annual corporate planning process.
