Vestas Lands Contract For Wind Farm In Turkey

Vestas says it has received a 27 MW order from a joint venture between Zaf Group and Tefirom Group for nine V112-3.0 MW wind turbines that will be installed at the Senbuk wind project in Hatay, Turkey.

This will be the first wind project in Turkey to utilize Vestas' V112-3.0 MW turbines, the company notes.

The contract comprises the delivery, transportation, installation and commissioning of the turbines; a VestasOnline Business SCADA system; and a 10-year Active Management Output 4000 service agreement.


The turbines are scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2013, and commissioning is expected in the second quarter of 2013.
