Vattenfall has celebrated a project milestone, having installed the first turbine at the 288 MW DanTysk offshore wind farm.
Located in the German North Sea, the project will feature a total of 80 Siemens 3.6 MW wind turbines, and Vattenfall says it expects to complete all installations by year-end, with the installation vessel Pacific Osprey performing the job.
