Pasadena, Calif.-headquartered Tetra Tech Inc., a provider of consulting, engineering and technical services, has acquired The Delaney Group, a New York-based planning and development services firm with wind energy expertise.

According to the companies, Tetra Tech is currently involved in environmental permitting for wind energy projects. However, the acquisition of The Delaney Group will expand the company's wind services.
