Osceola, Wis.-based Northwire Inc., a manufacturer of technical and retractile cables for applications including alternative energy, has named Michael Conger president. He replaces Mark Kravik, who was president and owner since 1984 and is transitioning to chairman of the board.
Prior to joining Northwire, Conger served in senior management roles in the railway and truck manufacturing industry, with his most recent role as managing director in the transport sector for a French company headquartered in Paris.
‘Mike's experience as a leader in growth-oriented environments will allow him to position Northwire for continued success – even during this challenging economy,’ says Kravik.
Conger has degrees from Marian University.
