The customer for the Korat 1 project is K.R. Two Company Ltd., and the purchaser for the Korat 2 project is First Korat Wind Co. Ltd. Both companies are subsidiaries of Thailand's Wind Energy Holding Co. Ltd.

The scope of supply encompasses the delivery, installation and commissioning of 90 SWT-2.3-101 Siemens wind turbines. Construction on both projects will begin this spring, and commissioning is scheduled for the end of the year.

These are the first orders Siemens has received for wind projects in Thailand.
