Pasadena, Calif.-headquartered Ameron International Corp., a manufacturer of products for the chemical, industrial, energy, transportation and infrastructure markets, has appointed Kenneth D. Primavera division president of its new wind tower division.
The focus of the new division will be on accelerated sales and marketing efforts. Ameron manufactures large-diameter wind towers for a number of wind turbine manufacturers and has nearly completed the construction of a wind tower manufacturing facility in Fontana, Calif.
Before his new appointment, Primavera was group vice president of sales and marketing for the West Coast region at Ameron and division president of the protective linings division of the water transmission group. He joined the company in November 1996.
