Philip Hughes Joins NaiKun Board of Directors

NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc. has elected energy executive Philip Hughes to its board of directors.

Hughes is a leader in both the Canadian and international energy industries, with expertise in electrical distribution, generation and transmission. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Calgary, Alberta-based electricity distributor FortisAlberta and led the acquisition and integration of Aquila Networks Canada into Fortis Group.

Currently, Hughes is a director of Churchill Energy Inc., an oil and gas company located in Calgary. He has served as the chairman of the Energy Council of Canada and the Canadian Electrical Association. He is a past member of the Officers' Council of the World Energy Council.
