Pekka Paasivaara has been appointed to the executive board of project certification company Germanischer Lloyd (GL). Paasivaara will be responsible for growing the industrial-services segment.
Paasivaara has been member of the executive board at Lenze AG, a manufacturer of drive and automation technology, and is responsible for sales, service and marketing issues.
With GL's industrial services, Paasivaara will be in charge of a growing business segment providing a broad spectrum of testing, certification and consulting services, focusing on the oil and gas, wind energy, management systems and materials-testing sectors.
GL's board also includes Hermann J. Klein, who is responsible for maritime services, and Joachim Segatz, in charge of finances.
