The Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA) and Koenig & Consultants have launched the Ontario Sustainability Services program to support commercial, community and aboriginal sustainable energy projects.

According to OSEA, it will provide full-service community-based solutions, including assistance with idea generation, pre-engineering, group formation, governance, project management, joint venture facilitation, financial counseling and back-office functions.

OSEA says the program is well-timed, given the recent update of Ontario's feed-in tariff (FIT) program. In the FIT update, the provincial government indicated it will prioritize small-scale renewable energy and microFIT projects, particularly those with Aboriginal and First Nation involvement.
