Newport, Maine-based Newport Industrial Fabrication says it has completed an order for Hyundai Heavy Industries that includes embedment plates and template rings for towers as part of the 2 MW Hyundai wind turbine.
The wind turbine, being installed in Kingston, Mass., is believed to be the largest turbine erected in the state to date.
Newport Industrial Fabrication Inc. is a steel fabrication and manufacturing company with experience providing wind products such as embedment plates, and coating services for components including hubs and shafts.
