Pennsylvania energy consumers will have the option to choose wind power, thanks to a recently launched website: choosepawind.com.

The website coincides with the launch of ChoosePAWind, a coalition of wind industry leaders, environmental advocates and policymakers that aims to promote the economic and environmental benefits of wind power in Pennsylvania.

The website displays options for several operators and energy suppliers. Consumers can choose suppliers that feature 100% Pennsylvania wind, and large energy users can work with a number of Pennsylvania wind power producers on renewable energy credits supporting only in-state wind projects.

More than 17 wind farms are currently operational in Pennsylvania, with 23 more in development.
