Jergens Releases New Swing Cylinders

The new power clamping swing cylinder line from Cleveland-based Jergens Inc. offers better-engineered swing cylinders that improve function and lessen friction for longer wear life and smoother operation, according to the company.

A proprietary cylinder design allows for robust operation with precision-machined features, such as squared tracks and pins designed for close tolerance and smoother motion. Jergens swing cylinders have heavy-duty, low-friction rods and double lip rod seals to extend service life and eliminate leakage.

The new swing cylinders provide workholding convenience and versatility with a choice of top or bottom flange styles and in single- or double-acting versions. Bottom flange swing cylinders offer through-hole bottom mount or a top-plate mounting. Both are hydraulically activated.
