Foxborough, Mass.-based ICONICS has announced the release of GENESIS64 V10.8, a SCADA solution that the company says is ideal for wind farm operations.
According to ICONICS, the product features Windows 8 natural user interfaces and can be used in warranty and asset performance verification, as well as system-wide monitoring and control. In addition, users can create 2D and 3D visualizations, distributed alarming, and data logging solutions for wind or other renewable energy applications.
V10.8 expands the existing EarthWorX feature, allowing real-time data to be positioned with geospatial coordinates on ESRI maps, Bing Maps or Google Maps, improving operational insight, ICONICS adds.
