Hall Street Storage is the first storage company to join Green-e Marketplace by purchasing enough Green-e certified renewable energy to meet 100% of its annual electricity needs for all of its U.S. operations, according to The Center for Resource Solutions.

The Brooklyn, N.Y.-based storage company purchased 3,200 MWh of Green-e Energy certified renewable energy certificates from Constellation NewEnergy. As a member of Green-e Marketplace, Hall Street Storage can now display the Green-e logo to inform consumers that the company buys 100% Green-e certified renewable energy.

‘Our commitment to having the lowest impact on the environment is more than one of our policies, for our management and employees alike, it's become our primary passion,’ says Jeffrey E. Sitt, president of Hall Street Storage. ‘We are proud to have taken a leading role in our industry, with environmental sustainability being our first priority. We see that by investing in clean energy, we are not only making a statement, we can serve as a role model to others in the industrial and business communities alike.’
