U.K.-based FoundOcean reports it is currently working on the 48-jacket Nordsee Ost offshore wind farm in the North Sea near Germany.

According to FoundOcean, project teams are looking at options to speed up the foundation installation process. One option under consideration is moving to a subsea connector that will allow the grout material, Masterflow 9500, to be delivered directly to the annulus.

In such circumstances, FoundOcean's 3-inch grout connectors would be fabricated onto the sleeves of the remaining jackets and, with the aid of ROVs, the grout umbilicals will then be deployed from the vessel directly to this subsea connector.
