Goldwind has completed its first wind turbine installation in Romania. Last year, the company had signed a deal with Mireasa Energies to supply 20 of its 2.5 MW wind turbines for the 50 MW Mireasa project, located in the city of Constanta.
Goldwind says it expects to ship the remaining wind turbines to Romania by year-end, with the installations and connections to the local electric grid scheduled for completion in June 2014. Monsson Alma, a local wind power developer in Romania, will operate the wind farm.
