Gamesa says it has completed the sale of the Taciewo wind farm, which is located in the Podlaskie region of northeast Poland, to RWE Renewables Polska, a subsidiary of German power company RWE Innogy GmbH.

The transaction marks Gamesa's third sale in a year and a half of a Polish wind farm to Germany's RWE Innogy, following agreements signed in July for the 14 MW Krzecin wind farm and in January 2011 for the 32 MW Piecki wind farm (in this case, also to HSE Regenerativ).

Gamesa developed and built the Taciewo project, which has a total installed capacity of 30 MW. The site is equipped with 15 G90-2.0 MW turbines.

Gamesa's wind energy project portfolio in Poland amounted to 786 MW as of June.
