Gamesa has signed an agreement to sell its full interest in Chestnut Flats Wind LLC and all project assets owned by the company to enXco, a unit of EDF Energies Nouvelles Co. A purchase price was not disclosed.
The 38 MW capacity Chestnut Flats Wind Project is located in Pennsylvania and uses 18 G90 and one G87 Gamesa wind turbines rated at 2 MW each. Delmarva Power and Light Co. will purchase the output under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
The deal is expected to close by the end of the year.
