In an effort to increase the quality of wind data for developers, Wind Prospect has released its Wind Measurement and Energy Yield Analysis service, which includes full mast installation reports, minimal gaps in data records and a comprehensive wind resource assessment study.

Wind Measurement and Energy Yield Analysis will be offered by Wind Prospect in the U.S. and Canada. The service will assist developers and funders in determining the wind resource and energy yield, selecting the best turbines, optimizing turbine layout and wind farm design, and avoiding unnecessary delays in the development process.

The service is wide-ranging and includes installation and maintenance of met masts, data retrieval and verification, wind resource analysis and energy yield assessment, the company says.
