ERSG Holdings, an energy recruitment business that specializes in onshore and offshore wind energy, smart grid/metering, marine, power, and oil and gas, has opened a new U.S. office based out of Seattle.

According to the company, the Seattle office will initially focus on providing wind professionals across several states, supporting pre-existing multinational clients.

Along with the opening of the new office, James Dixon has been appointed chief operating officer for ERSG Inc. The company says Dixon is well-suited to lead ERSG’s presence in the U.S., having lived and worked in the states for 15 years and having a background in business start-ups within staffing and recruiting across a variety of industry sectors.

“The U.S. has an established onshore wind market with a huge capacity for growth. Notwithstanding the offshore projects having also been consented, we are very excited to explore a strong emerging market allowing us to further diversify our geography,” said Jim Ryan, company director.
