enXco Service Corp., an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, has announced a multiyear operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement with MidAmerican Energy Co. (MEC). This solidifies enXco's position as the leading third-party O&M provider for wind energy projects in North America.

This latest contract for 216 WIND turbines makes a total of 615 turbines (897.5 MW) that enXco operates for MEC and marks the fourth agreement signed with the company this year.

‘We believe our policy of putting safety and quality ahead of everything else resonates well with MidAmerican's relentless commitment to providing excellent service to its customers,’ says Larry Barr, executive vice president for enXco.

In addition to the O&M services provided at the Charles City (75 MW), Carroll (150 MW) and Victory (99 MW) wind projects, 24/7 remote monitoring and fault resets will be provided from enXco's operations control center in Pipestone, Minn.
