Escondido, Calif.-based enXco Service Corp., an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, has signed a multiyear operations and maintenance (O&M) service agreement with PacifiCorp, a subsidiary of MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co., for six wind energy projects generating a total of 456 MW of electricity.
The company will begin operating and providing all necessary maintenance for the Leaning Juniper project in Oregon (100.5 MW) immediately. Services for the remaining five projects located in Wyoming – Glenrock (99 MW), Glenrock III (39 MW), Rolling Hills (99 MW), Seven Mile Hill (99 MW) and Seven Mile Hill II (19.5 MW) – will begin in December.
In addition to O&M services provided at the sites, 24/7 remote monitoring and fault resets of the 304 wind turbines will be provided from enXco's operations control center in Pipestone, Minn.
