Enel Green Power says it has placed five new plants into service over the past few days in December, bringing additional capacity in 2011 to more than 880 MW.
According to Enel, the five new plants include a solar PV facility combined with a geothermal plant in the U.S., two wind farms in Romania and two in Spain.
Enel Green Power says its net installed capacity will exceed 7,000 MW for 2011.
