The Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council (EFSEC) will hold a public meeting on Aug. 6 to hear comments on an amendment to the Wild Horse Wind Power Project site certification agreement.
If approved, the amendment would allow expansion of the site by 1,280 acres – from 8,600 acres to 9,880 acres. The amendment would also allow the construction of 26 new turbines with a generating capacity of up to 54 MW in the expansion area, resulting in a total maximum generating capacity of 283 MW.
The following documents about the request for amendment are available from EFSEC:
– the July 2 request from PSE, which owns the Wild Horse Wind Power Project, and
– documents used by EFSEC in its previous review of the project.
