PacifiCorp, a Portland, Ore.-based electricity producer, has announced the completion of the Leaning Juniper 1 wind farm located southwest of Arlington, Ore.

The wind farm uses 67 1.5 MW GE wind turbines to provide a capacity of 100.5 MW of wind energy. The electricity generated at the Leaning Juniper 1 is part of the diverse resource mix used to supply electricity to PacifiCorp's customers, the company says.

In July, NAW announced PacifiCorp's purchase of the facility from Portland, Ore.-headquartered PPM Energy. As part of the agreement, PPM Energy will provide operation and maintenance services for the project for two years.
