Andrea J. Chambers has joined law firm Ballard Spahr's Washington, D.C., office as a partner in the Energy and Project Finance Group.

Chambers has more than 20 years of experience in the natural gas and electric industries. She advises energy industry clients nationwide on policy, regulatory and compliance matters and represents them before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

"Our energy lawyers are actively engaged in the issues shaping the industry, from infrastructure matters involving shale gas to transmission and energy market issues to renewable energy finance and M&A to compliance with the rapidly evolving regulatory framework,” says firm chair Mark Stewart. “With the addition of Andrea, our reputation for excellence in the energy sector is even stronger.”
