Vestas has received a 90 MW order from Enel Green Power for 45 V100-2.0 MW wind turbines, which will be installed at the Valle de los Vientos wind project in the Antofagasta region of Chile.

The contract includes the delivery, transportation, installation and commissioning of the turbines; a VestasOnline Business SCADA system; and a five-year service and maintenance agreement.

The order is part of a 400 MW global supply agreement the companies signed in September 2010 that also featured an option for an additional 1 GW.
