Modular Wind Energy, a manufacturer of rotor blades for large wind turbines, has appointed Charles W. Vaughan as its new senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Vaughan has over 20 years of commercial experience in the energy, telecommunications and consumer products industries with both start-up companies and Fortune 500 corporations.

He is a veteran of the renewable energy industry, with over 10 years of executive experience at wind energy companies such as GE Energy, Clipper Windpower and Northern Power Systems, and most recently, with solar energy company Amonix.
