Power Climber Wind Promotes Two Executives

Power Climber Wind, a division of SafeWorks LLC, has promoted Mike Russell to the position of national sales director and Gregory Crew to the position of director of global wind product management.

Russell will be responsible for strategic sales growth and business development for Power Climber Wind's service lifts and related internal and external turbine access solutions throughout North America.

During his tenure at the company, Russell went from a national sales manager in Power Climber's construction and infrastructure access business to leading its wind sales initiatives. Prior to joining Power Climber, he held a series of sales, marketing and executive management functions with Guardian Industries and Certified Safety Manufacturing.

In his new position, Crew will lead Power Climber’s strategy to grow its powered access products, such as turbine service lifts and climb assists, while helping to guide new product development and customer satisfaction.

Prior to joining the company, Crew was chief operating officer of Nordic Energy, where he was responsible for developing the company’s U.S. supply chain and for negotiating relationships with transportation, construction, and operations and maintenance partners.

Some of Crew’s other recent positions in the wind industry included president of Nordic Windpower and project manager for Energy Nevada. Before that, he was co-founder and president of GreenOrder, where he consulted with Fortune 100 companies on sustainable procurement and operations.
