Rohit Modi Rejoins Suzlon As CEO Of Emerging Markets

Suzlon has announced that Rohit Modi will rejoin the company as its CEO for India and emerging markets.

Modi's previous stint with Suzlon was as head of the company's India business unit. In his new role, he will focus on driving business growth in India, and oversee key emerging markets like Brazil, China and South Africa.

Modi's last position was with Gammon India Ltd., where he served as deputy managing director. He has also held positions in government and Larsen & Toubro, among other firms.

“Emerging markets - like India, Brazil and South Africa - represent the largest growth in demand for power in years to come and have the greatest need for sustainable, cost effective sources like wind,” Modi says.
