AWS Truepower Adds Several Wind Pros To Due Diligence Team AWS Truepower has brought several industry professionals to bolster its due diligence and advisory service capabilities.

Gill Howard Larsen assumed leadership of the group as director of due diligence. According to AWS, Larsen is an experienced project developer and owner having worked at Edison Mission Energy and Cinergy.

Chris Ziesler joined AWS in August as manager of technical advisory services. Previously, he was senior vice president at Wind Capital Group. Before Wind Capital, he previously held positions at Shell Wind Energy and Powergen Renewables.


Emil Moroz will join AWS as senior turbine engineer. A well-known and respected figure in the wind industry, he was previously chief engineer at Garrad Hassan America and director of technology and project development at DeWind, as well as director of wind turbine technology at AES.

Nestor Castillo will join AWS Truepower as senior electrical engineer. For the past two years, Castillo was a risk assessment engineer for the Texas Reliability Entity, and before that, he was senior electrical engineer for DNV GL.

Lastly, Cristian Algar was hired as project manager in the Barcelona, Spain office. A mechanical engineer, he worked for more than five years for Abantia, a solar engineering, procurement and construction services provider.
