ACCIONA Inaugurates 56 MW Wind Farm In India

ACCIONA Energy says it has inaugurated the Tuppadahalli wind farm, a 56.1 MW project in India.

The Tuppadahalli project consists of 34 1.65 MW turbines, and the electricity generated is purchased by state-owned distribution company MESCOM.

ACCIONA wholly owns all of its wind farms in India, including the Arasinagundi wind farm (13.2 MW), installed in 2007, and the Anabaru wind farm (16.5 MW), which entered service in 2008.
