Less than three days after announcing the departure of its CEO, ABB says that another high profile executive will leave the power and automotive solutions company.

Chief Technology Officer Prith Banerjee, who joined the company in 2012, has decided to leave the company for family reasons. He will be relocating to the U.S., where he will be taking another position outside the company. A successor will be announced in due course, notes ABB.

A formal date for Banerjee's departure has not yet been decided, the company adds. On May 10, ABB said that Joe Hogan had decided to leave the company for ‘private reasons.’
